The pandemic lockdown, bachelor's life

The lockdown has taught me so much that i now understand difference between Sauf and cumin seeds.
So much that i now recognize the importance of having food and vegetables available. The ability to breath freely. The gift that we all received from nature, a pure air to breath in.
An old man who got cured from Covid-19 said to the doctors when he recovered, "I am thankful to you, This is a heavy debt on me. Moreover i am having no idea of how much i have to pay the Nature for free Oxygen. A day's bill in ICU is 50,000 rupees."

Like others in cities that are highly affected by virus, I have been going through hard times satisfying the daily needs. We have been in total lockdown since march 13, 2020 in Pune even before state Govt. officially announced the lockdown.

For bachelors, this means a lot. From getting up early in the morning, sorting waste into wet and dry waste, dumping the waste in common society waste bins, Preparing breakfast, Logging in to computers and get started with the work, etc.

Preparing lunch during breaktimes is a very challenging task though. You get 1 hour, Now you split this one hour in such a way that you spend 75% time preparing and making the food ready to eat, 20% time to eat the food and 5% time to take some rest. I see that the nature is putting your time management skills at work to check how well you can manage time.

This entire period of lock down has turned me from a software engineer who hardly cared about food to a descent cook. Thanks to youtube. The next task that lines up your way is utensils. Now that you dont have your maid at work, you are the one who needs to take care of your kitchen and its cleanliness.
Cleaning the floor is also a task which is ignored by bachelors.
